A. General Discipline & Conduct
1. Proper school uniform with an I - Card is compulsory at all times within school premises and during all school activities, including open days, annual functions and excursions.
2. Students must be punctual and neatly dressed with polished shoes. Boys must have a proper haircut and girls must keep their hair neatly tied as prescribed.
3. A fine of ₹ 50 will be charged if any student comes late to school or comes in improper uniform. Default more than Three times may lead to expulsion of the student.
4. Any slogan writing, scribbling, or defacing of uniform, walls, furniture or school property is strictly prohibited.
5. Change of classrooms between periods must be done silently and in an orderly manner.
6. Shouting, whistling, throwing objects or any unruly behaviour within the school premises is not permitted.
7. Students must respect school property. Any damage, even if accidental, must be reported immediately and the cost shall be borne by the concerned student/parents.
8. Sharp instruments, dangerous objects or anything that may cause injury are strictly prohibited.
9. Students should keep classrooms, school buildings and campus clean and use dustbins for waste.
10. The school is not responsible for loss of personal belongings. Expensive items (watches, jewellery, fountain pens, etc.) should not be brought to school.
11. No books other than prescribed textbooks or library books are allowed.
B. Prohibited Activities (Strictly Forbidden)
Students shall not indulge in any of the following:
● Writing on uniforms or throwing things at others.
● Spitting or damaging school property.
● Smoking or chewing paan, gutka or tobacco.
● Gambling, bartering or stealing.
● Cheating in tests/examinations.
● Rowdyism, aggressiveness, violence or use of abusive language.
● Disobedience or rudeness towards teachers and school staff.
● Casteism, communalism or practice of untouchability.
● Sexually offensive behaviour.
● Bursting crackers, throwing colour/gulal or painting faces within school premises.
Strict disciplinary action will be initiated against the students indulging in any of the above activities.
C. Mobile Phones & Vehicles
1. Bringing mobile phones to school is strictly prohibited. If found, the phone will be confiscated and returned only at the end of the academic session after payment of a fine of ₹ 1000.
2. Cameras, motorbikes, scooters, cars or similar vehicles are not allowed. Violation may lead to suspension or expulsion.
D. Attendance, Safety & Medical Care
1. School gates will open 15 minutes before the assembly bell. Parents are requested not to send students earlier than this.
2. Parents dropping or picking up students must park their vehicles outside the school premises.
3. The school provides only basic first aid. In case of illness or emergency, parents will be informed and must pick up the child.
4. If parents are unavailable, the child may be taken to a doctor/hospital on the school panel. All medical expenses shall be borne by parents/guardians.
E. Parents’ Responsibilities
1. Parents are requested not to smoke, chew paan, gutka or tobacco within school premises.
2. Parents must instruct their wards to respect school rules, staff and property.
3. Parents are expected to explain the school rules mentioned in the diary to their children and ensure compliance.
4. Parents are advised to regularly check SMS, voice calls, and WhatsApp messages from official school or class groups, as well as other communication platforms used by the school, for important notices, circulars, academic updates, event information and emergency instructions. The school shall not be held responsible for any inconvenience caused due to non-receipt or non-reading of such communications.
F. Birthdays & Celebrations
1. Only students up to Class V are allowed to wear coloured dress on their birthdays.
2. Only toffees may be distributed. Chewing gum, bubble gum, gifts or return gifts are not permitted.
3. No gifts should be brought for staff members. Only gifts can be given on Teacher's day.
G. Section Allocation
At the beginning of each session, sections may be reshuffled to help students adjust and interact better. No request for change of section will be entertained.
H. Disciplinary Measures
The school reserves the right to suspend or to take strict disciplinary action against any student whose diligence or progress in studies is consistently unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students. Immorality, grave insubordination, disobedience, contempt of authority, any kind of violence or wilful damage to school property are some of the reasons for immediate dismissal.
Depending on the seriousness of misconduct, the following actions may be taken:
❖ Oral warning and counselling
❖ Written warning in discipline register (three warnings may lead to dismissal)
❖ Nominal fine
❖ Detention during break
❖ Disallowing participation in events, picnics or excursions
❖ Suspension (3 to 30 days)
❖ Rustication / Expulsion
I. Transfer Certificate
Transfer Certificate (T.C.) will be issued only after all dues are cleared. One month’s prior written notice or fees up to the month of application (up to a maximum of three months, whichever is less) must be paid. A minimum of two weeks is required for processing the countersigned T.C.
J. School Identity Card Rule
❖ Every student must wear and carry the school identity card on all school days.
❖ The school ID card is valid only within the school premises and for official school-related purposes.
❖ It must not be used as a government-issued identity document or for any legal, verification, or official purpose outside the school.
❖ Any misuse of the school ID card will invite disciplinary action.
Note: Adherence to the code of conduct and discipline is mandatory. The school reserves the right to take strict action in the interest of maintaining discipline and a safe learning environment.
