Promotion Guidelines

● Attendance: A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory for promotion.

● Passing Marks: Students must secure at least 33% in every subject.

● Detention: Failing in three or more subjects or falling short of attendance may result in repeating the class.

● Clearance: Results and promotions will be withheld if school dues (fees) are not cleared.

● Promotion from one class to the next is based on a student’s overall performance throughout the academic year, including:

○ Periodic tests

○ Unit / term examinations

○ Written work and classroom participation

○ Extra Curricular Activities

○ Attendance and behavior

● Students must pass all major subjects as per the school’s assessment policy to be eligible for promotion.

● Promotion is not automatic; it depends on performance, attendance, behavior, and discipline.

● Parents/guardians must support students in regular study, homework, and school activities.

● The school reserves the right to modify promotion rules as per board or school policy.
